That is on purpose. A tool earns a spot on this page by surviving the same review loop we run on our own work before we ship it. Nothing goes up because a vendor asked nicely.
We run every candidate through the same loop we use internally: a build pass, an adversarial review, and a verdict, with receipts we can show. A tool has to clear all five of the following.
It does what the seller claims on a real task we ran, not on a demo the vendor staged for us.
It survives an adversarial review with receipts we can publish. Someone on our side tries to break it, on the record.
The failure modes are documented by us, not by the vendor. If it breaks, we say where and how.
Pricing is what the page says, with no upsell gate on the core claim. The thing you were sold works at the price you were quoted.
We would run it on our own work, and we say whether we do. No listing we would not use ourselves.
Submitting a tool: use the contact form and put "tool review" in the message. We will tell you what we tested and what we found either way.
